Some of the most difficult relationships in life are with extended family. The people you’re related to, but sometimes wish you weren’t. When conflict arises with your in-laws, parents, aunts, uncles, and siblings, tensions can quickly rise and lines are easily drawn. This week, Pastor Luke walks us through the story of Joseph in Genesis through the lens of family conflict. Jacob made choices that opened his family up to internal battles, and the result was the life of his son, Joseph. While Joseph could have held onto bitterness and hurt from how he was treated by his siblings, we find in the end he chose forgiveness and reconciliation. Where Jacob failed to battle for his family in the beginning, Joseph did in the end. Join us as we learn from this unique family situation and how we can face battles with our extended family!
