Breakthrough Faith
Every believer is called to walk in breakthrough faith—a kind of faith that doesn’t stop at obstacles but pushes through them. In our message “It’s Your Move,” Pastor Alex challenged us to stop standing behind the walls of fear, assumption, busyness, insecurity, and past rejection. We don’t wait for perfect moments; we trust God and take action.
Why Breakthrough Faith Matters
Breakthrough faith matters because it doesn’t allow fear to determine our obedience. In 2 Timothy 1:7 (NLT), we read that God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-discipline. When we step forward in faith, we experience the courage that comes from God’s Spirit, not from our circumstances.
Obstacles to Breakthrough Faith
We often believe that things like rejection or past failure disqualify us from sharing our faith or inviting someone to church. But a faith that breakthroughs acknowledges the fear—and still moves forward. Romans 1:16 (NLT) reminds us, “For I am not ashamed of this Good News about Christ.” The Gospel is too good to keep to ourselves.
Living with Breakthrough Faith
Living with breakthrough faith doesn’t require perfection; it requires obedience. Like Paul told Timothy in 2 Timothy 1:6 (NLT), we must fan into flame the gift God has given us. Even if you feel unqualified, God has already entrusted you with the ability to reach others in your life.
God Can Use You Powerfully
Never underestimate what God can do with your simple “yes.” One invitation could change a life, a family, or even a generation. Don’t let insecurity or fear keep you quiet. The truth is, a faith that breakthroughs not only changes others—it transforms you. Ephesians 3:20 (NLT) says, “Now all glory to God, who is able, through His mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think.”
