Invite with Boldness
God has given us everything we need to invite with boldness. Whether it’s a coworker, neighbor, or family member, the invitation to meet Jesus could change everything. In “It’s Your Move,” we were reminded that our faith is not just personal—it’s powerful, and it’s meant to be shared.
Why We Invite with Boldness
2 Timothy 1:7 (NLT) tells us, “For God has not given us a spirit of fear and timidity, but of power, love, and self-discipline.” The Holy Spirit fuels our courage to be bold in our invitation, not shrink back in fear. We don’t invite based on perfection—we invite based on obedience and compassion.
Boldness Doesn’t Mean Perfection
You might feel unqualified to extend an invitation. But your story is powerful. Like Paul said in 2 Timothy 1:8 (NLT), “Never be ashamed to tell others about our Lord.” When you invite with boldness, you participate in the rescue mission of heaven. You don’t need a perfect past to be a present witness.
The Power of a Simple Invitation
One invite can change an entire eternity. Romans 10:14 (NLT) asks, “How can they hear about him unless someone tells them?” When you are bold in your invitation, you open the door for someone to meet Jesus. Don’t underestimate what God can do through one simple conversation.
Let the Holy Spirit Lead You to Invite with Boldness
2 Timothy 1:14 (NLT) urges us to guard the truth of the Gospel with the help of the Holy Spirit. When you invite with boldness, you are relying on the Spirit to prepare hearts and guide your words. It’s not about being eloquent—it’s about being willing.
